These Terms govern the CursorShot desktop application and related website, account, licensing, release, and subscription services provided by Ryuxin Entertainment. By creating an account, starting a trial, or using CursorShot, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
CursorShot is a desktop studio for recording approved application windows and their selected-app audio, editing scenes, cursor treatment, zooms, captions, and built-in background music, and exporting video. It does not promise microphone recording, webcam capture, a full desktop audio mix, upload, publishing, or desktop-wide video capture.
2. Accounts and security
You must provide accurate account information, keep access to your sign-in provider secure, and notify us of unauthorized use. You may not share, sell, or circumvent account or license credentials.
3. Trial, subscriptions, and billing
The advertised commercial options are USD $9 per month or USD $60 per year (a USD $48 annual saving), each with a 14-day trial that requires a payment method. Polar is the merchant of record and handles checkout, charges, taxes, renewal, cancellation, receipts, and applicable refunds under its terms and applicable law. A plan is not active until Polar and the CursorShot entitlement service confirm it.
4. License and devices
A paid or valid trial entitlement grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use CursorShot on up to 3 authorized Windows or Mac computers in total. A verified paid license may work offline for up to 30 days, never beyond the entitlement’s validity. We may revoke compromised, duplicated, refunded, or fraudulently obtained licenses.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of recordings, projects, and exports you create. You are responsible for having permission to record and use any applications, interfaces, data, people, brands, or other material shown in your content.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use CursorShot or its services to violate law, infringe rights, distribute malware, attack or overload the service, probe other users’ data, defeat security or licensing controls, or misrepresent the origin of content.
7. Updates and availability
We may provide fixes, security updates, feature changes, or compatibility changes. Windows-protected, DRM, elevated, or otherwise restricted surfaces may not be captureable. The service may be interrupted for maintenance, security, provider outages, or events outside our control.
8. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, CursorShot is provided “as is” without warranties that every application, workflow, export, or third-party service will work without interruption. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for CursorShot during the twelve months before the claim, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
9. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms with a new effective date. You may stop using CursorShot at any time and may manage renewal through the payment provider once billing is enabled. We may suspend access for material breach, fraud, security risk, or legal requirement.
